i killed all my seedlings. can i still reuse the jiffy pellets?
i went on a 4 day trip and I thought they would last. apparently not. #2 question: should I have left about a half inch of water in the plastic tray before I left on my trip? Thanks for your help. fyi- i only had some sunflowers, tomatoes, peppers. Not many so it wasn't a huge loss. thx
Yes, you can use the pots again. The best thing is to either make sure that they are in a greenhouse type environment to keep moisture in (when they are really small or just sprouting) or to keep out of direct sunlight when you are away (you can try to keep a bit of water in the bottom of the tray. You just don't want the pots to sit in water to long because it will break down the pot faster than you want and may help grow some moss or mold.
