What is the most popular 125cc bike on the market?
Just wondered what the most popular 125 bikes on the market are? Is the Varadero a good one. In general what are the top 5ish best 125cc bikes?
Would quite like to get one in a few years and am just curious, thanks,
I did loads of research on 125cc bikes when I first did my CBT. After reading a ton of reviews on nearly every 125 available in the UK I found these to have the best reviews and top sales. I'v added little comments about each.
Yamaha YBR125 (Good price, Great commuter and comfortable ride)
Yamaha YZF125 (Great looking bike, that's well put together bike, very expensive!)
Honda CBF125 (Good commuter bike, nice new styling I think, Still a good price for a new bike even though the price has gone up)
Honda CBR 125 (Nice looking bike, very reliable, not the most comfortable of rides.)
Honda Varadero (Very expensive! But also very comfortable and very well put together and reliable.)
Aprilia RS125 (The best 2 stroke 125 made to date. Got everything a beginner sports bike rider would ever want, but being a 2 stroke not aways the most reliable.)
I managed to get a ride on all these bikes when I was buying mine (CBR125) and, their all great bikes. They all have their little problems or what I like to call them "characteristics." Providing your planning on doing your test once you do start riding (which I would highly recommend as there are some big changes coming as of 2013.) your only going to have a 125 for a short while. I wouldn't spend too much on your first bike, but if you buy any of these your going to get a good price when you come round to selling it.
