Is it true that baby powder w/ lavender helps fleas?
My friend told me I could put baby powder w/ lavender on the floors and puppy and it will kill the fleas. Is this true?
The puppy is 6 weeks old.
She only has a couple on her and I just want to get rid of them before she gets more. I also have a 6 year old dog but she doesn't have fleas. The puppy had fleas when I got her. I washed her with dawn blue once and that got rid of most the fleas but there is just a couple more left that I need to get off of her. Thanks for all the help.
You can bathe her in Dawn dishwashing liquid blue orginal. This will kill the fleas on her. To keep them off get her a flea collar. My dog doesn't wear a flea collar we use Frontline which you are suppose to use monthly we use it yearly. I bath him in Dawn or Head and Shoulders. Dawn in the summer for the fleas and H&S in the winter for the dry skin. He's 14 and has had about 10 fleas his whole life. You can get flea stuff for puppies. But bath him first in Dawn. Was his bedding also To see if there are fleas in your house take a paper plate put some Dawn in it and leave it in an area where you think there are fleas over night they jump right into the plate if there are any around.
I just read the additional details you have bathed her bath her again. Find out where the fleas are. in the yarn? Go to the Feed store or Yard and Garden store and get severn dust to put all over your yard to kill the fleas there. I use to work for the Humane Society we have bathed dogs and cats every couple of days if we had to to get rid of the fleas.
