How do I flavor a chicken?
supermarket rotisserie chickens have a great flavor, how do I replicate this at home in my oven? perhaps I could use a brine of some sort?
if so I would love a recipe. (no citrus please)
Supermarket rotisserie chickens are injected to keep them moist for long periods, and to add flavor. I'm not sure what they use, but you could try chicken broth/stock and put a few seasonings in it before injecting.
I'm not a big fan of injecting, (I have an injector somewhere), or brining
