If a fruit is a seed plant...than what is the difference between vegetables that have seeds?
A fruit is defined by as a ripened reproductive body of a seed plant.
Are not tomatoes, eggplant, cucumber, zucchinis, squash, bell pepper all have seeds? So what is the difference between them?
A botanist would consider everything you listed as fruits. Some vegetables would be broccoli, cabbage, turnips, carrots, onions, spinach and potatoes.
