HELP! First time veggie gardener...?
Where to start!? It's our first time planting a vegetable garden and we're having mixed results... What we've planted is stake beans, bush beans, swiss and ruby chard, green onions, carrots, radishes, several different kinds of tomatoes, peppers (jalapeno, cayenne, hot banana, and bell) broccoli, squash, watermelon, cantaloupe, and sunflowers. I know right! That's a big garden... I'm having problems with mostly the cucumbers and stake beans everything else is growing ok, the cucumber leaves are turning yellow and the beans won't grow past sprouts. Am I watering too much? I have been watering twice a day and have now cut down to once a day, and I spray miracle grow about every four to five days. Also, which plants require more water and which require less water?
My veggies have just started sprouting, I thought I had to water them pretty often until they get bigger
The beans may take a while that is just how they are! As for the yellowing I would say either an iron issue or magnesium. Just give it so all purpose fertlizer.
