Bulgarian Carrot Chilli Plants Dropping Buds?
I have four different chilli plants all growing alongside each other and the other three are doing very well. The Bulgarian Carrot started off ok and there are three large chillies on it. All the other stems of the buds on the top of the plant turned yellow and fell off and there are no new ones in sight. Any suggestions please?
Most pepper varieties are very sensitive to extreme heat, and some more than others. If you had a sudden bout of hot weather the plant may be dropping blossoms as a survival reaction. Try providing a bit of temporary afternoon shade for the plant and see if that helps.
