Find the Best Hosiery, Slippers & Sock Fashions Right Now at MLegFashions
There are a lot of ladies' legs walking around this world and many women who wear all varieties of pantyhose – from Tights to Thigh Highs to Toeless socks – looking to find the best value in fashionable foot and leg coverings. But where do they go? Most women's retail stores and shopping centers may provide a fair sampling of common stockings and even a few fancy specialty hose, but these retailers often charge high prices and provide little in the way of good customer service and communications.
MLegFashions.com, on the other hand, offers an incredible array of stockings and ladies hosiery that include traditional Pantyhose, Thigh Highs, Knee Highs, Ankle Highs, Foot Covers, Children's Tights, Support Hose, Leggings, Shapers and even Maternity hose, among several other kinds of hosiery. MLegFashions hosiery prices are incredibly low – in some cases nearly half of what many retailers charge for ladies legwear in stores nationwide! And the customer service is impeccable! For nearly 40 years, MLegFashions offers excellent customer service by phone and email, and even has an actual store location and warehouse in Southern California.
Since women's hosiery customers come in every proportion and measurement today, it may seem tricky to determine what size they are before purchasing their selected hose. These MLegFashions customers can get the exact size of hosiery that they need by speaking directly with a friendly and helpful MLegFashions customer service associate. Once they select your size, the next step for our hosiery customers is to choose from the over one dozen categories of your favorite hosiery made by many of the top manufacturers today!

next season showing with my pony questions?
I did some showing last season with my pony but I am hoping to really get into it this year.
so I was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks? Always helpful to catch the judges eye. ![]()
She is a 14hh flea bitten grey arab cross new forest. she is very very pretty ![]()
I normally show in bonny pony, best ridden pony and pony club type pony. and some novice sj and sometimes working hunter. any other classes?
and also have a I forgoten anything in my showing stuff or is any of it wrong. She is ridden in a plain black bridle and saddle with no nunmah. she has a blue white and red browband (http://www.horseplay.biz/supreme/hbsupreme157-more.htm) with matching button hole. I have navy blue showjacket and velvet hat and a red tie with a white shirt. and short boots with joddy clips.
also what colour jods are correct? canary or beige? and should i carry a showing cane? Thanks
xx
UK showing for working hunter you need a tweed jacket and plain browband.
For showing ponies canary jods are correct and dont forget to put jodphur clips on. you need brown leather gloves, and your hair should ba in a neat bun inside a hairnet.
white shirts are not wonderful for showing. go for a cream or canary one as they would look less harsh. You should carry a show cane, preferably a leather covered one.
Have you got any pictures of your pony as what you show her in depends on what type she is. A show pony turnout can look rediculas on a pony that is a show hunter type. Some ponies can do both.
pony needs to be plaited, heels, wiskers and beard trimmed off, tail pulled and pony immaculate. You will also need to put makeup and gloss on the ponies face. Be careful as on a grey you can endup with a panda look which is not good.
This is my show pony who also gets away with hunter pony classes.
As a show pony (note this was taken in April and he still has his winter coat dispite my best efforts to get it out, with a borrowed rider as well because I am too old to do show pony classes)

Both thses ponies have done very well at county level. Harvey in both M&M classes and SHP classes with the occasional SP (he didnt do wonderfully in these at county level). Pride primarily as a hunter pony and working hunter pony.
Pride continues to do well in the veteran classes at the age of 27!!! infact the pics of him were taken when he was 25!! Harvey is now retired.
helpful hints:
1) prepare prepare prepare. Rosettes are won at home you only go to shows to pick them up. Before you get to the show your pony should be very well schooled, working in an outline and going forwards. the pony should have manners even when cantering in a group.
2) give yourself plenty of time. there is noting worse then rocking up to a show just before your class goes in, everything goes wrong and is stressful when that happens. you need to arrive at a show at least an hour and a half before your class (when you get more experianced you can shorten this to about an hour, but even after 20 years of showing I prefer to have an hour and a half)
3) At home work out how long you will need to warm him up but not have him go flat. This is very dependant on the pony. Get yourself a routine for warming up as it means you have one less thing to think about at the show but be prepared to throw it out the window if the horse is feeling fresh at the show. I have one pony who takes 10 mins to warm up most of the time, if you do more he goes flat and doesnt sparkle in the ring. Very occassionaly he will decide he is in a funny mood and it will take me 30 mins to get any sort of sense from him and convince him that the ring ropes are not going to eat him. so give yourself plenty of time to warm up. Also the warm up is not the place to school your horse or change his way of going, that should have been done at home.
4) be polite, keep your space, smile! do not get too close to anything and please try not to overtake infront of the judge (circle away or do it when the judges back is turned).
5) If you are unsure of what to do then ASK. There is nothing more dangerous then 10 ponies in a ring with someone who doesnt know what is going on. Judges and stewards are happy to explain and wont mark you down for asking.
6) keep your individual show short and sweet. Do not try anything fancy unless you are 100% sure that you can pull it off. I will ask for an extended trot from my pony or a flying change, sometimes even a walk to canter transition or a back up but I am sure 100% that my pony can do them and can do them well!!!!! There is nothing worse as a judge to see peoples shows going on and on for ages with them trying and failing to get fancy moves. a walk, trot and canter on each rein with a gallop on one rein is sufficiant. Keep it short, sweet, and most important good!
7) be a good looser, even if you havent got a clue why the judge has placed it like they have or you think the judge is blind, smile, congratulate those above you and just mark it as a learning experiance and not to go under that judge again.
