Why does my brand new bare root rose bush have black stems and what can I do to help it grow?
I ordered two bare root roses. I soaked them for 24 hours and then potted them in large containers with mulch and a mix of fertilized potting soil and potting mix. One of them is growing like a weed. I've got new stems and leaves in less than a week. The other hasn't changed a millimeter and has black, dead looking stems. Can I salvage this plant? Should I make a complaint to the supplier?
I sure would make a complaint to them .i dont think it will live . you can try and cut it off close to the dirt .i have done that and they come back good luck
